Flyer for the Utah Developmental Disabilities Council - also in the Article as a PDF - Survey Request

One of our partners, the Utah Developmental Disabilities Council (UDDC), has requested our help getting input on the survey they do every 5 years to plan to improve the quality of life for individuals with disabilities. Please take a look at the information below, as well as this flyer (PDF) attached . Too seldom is the voice of our families and students sought. Please consider sharing your input. It will be great for them to know. Links are also below.

Original Message:

The UDDC strives to improve the quality of life for people with developmental disabilities by:

  • Teaching communities how to welcome and include people with developmental disabilities.

  • Funding projects that show new ways for people to work, play, and learn.

  • Gathering ideas and information from the public, as well as from state and national sources.

Every five years, we create a plan to improve services for people with developmental disabilities. We team up with groups and individuals to learn what the needs are for the developmental disability community in Utah. Knowing what is important to you will help us write strong goals. Your ideas and thoughts are powerful. Please share them by taking this short survey.

All responses matter, but we are missing input from

  • young adults with developmental disabilities,

  • older adults with developmental disabilities, and

  • people in rural communities

This survey is available in other formats along with assistance completing it.

If you require either, please contact us:
